The Funniest Thing I’ve Seen This Week

July 17th, 2008 · 3 Comments

An allegedly corrupt local official in Oklahoma draws a crude, borderline illiterate comic book to explain the homosexual conspiracy against him. Maybe this is backward, but I find myself less taken aback by his substantively insane views—I guess I’m accustomed to elected officials with insane views—than by the fact that someone holding a position of public trust appears to have the writing ability of a half-bright fourth grader.

That good, eh? That is shocking.

(It was an inevitable remark, so I figured I’d get it out of the way.)

Come on…you must be accustomed to that, too.

I think what’s funny isn’t so much that he’s an idiot, but that’s he was enough of an idiot to send this stuff out without realizing how bad it would look.

How did he ever get elected?

Does he just have a name that’s similar to a competent-seeming person?

Um, did you miss the part that said, “Oklahoma”?

This guy’s a shoo-in for a US Senate seat when Inhofe retires.
