Yeah, this game has had me adding to the books I am going to read. Reasons and Persons is going near the top, for as you point out, lots of people are listing it.

I played this game too and was surprised at some of what came to the surface, since I don't generally spend a lot of time thinking about influence and hadn't realized the extent to which some core ideas infiltrated my mind. And by reading the list of others, I keep finding books that make me think, "I should read that." Code, from your list, jumps out as one of those.
