		<description>I can&#039;t cite the exact paper but my urban economics professor said that in one paper using time-series sex offender data, there was a 2% loss of property values when a sex offender moved in, and a subsequent 2% gain when that person moved back out.</description>

I moved to a small enough town that it was possible for me to print out a large map and plot the homes of about 200 sex offenders. It&#039;s pretty clear that they live all over, but cluster in a few areas in general. When I visited on a househunting trip, it was clear to see the difference between the two areas...</description>
