Some great choices here; President of What, the Laws Have Changed and These Few Presidents in particular.

For overjoyed progressives, I’d nominate “First Breath After Coma” by Explosions in the Sky and “Brighter Days” by Parts and Labor.

For bitter GOP fans who need a dose of mockery with their Scotch, how about “I Want a Lot Now” by the Murder City Devils and “I’ll Believe in Anything” by Wolf Parade.

When the bitterness fades and they try and figure out how to move forward, theres the progression from “Hard Feelings” by Georgie James to “What’s Left Behind” by the Sadies, then to “Forgiveness” by Yeasayer and finally to “Apology Song” by the Decemberists.

For everyone: “Rock and Roll President” by the Bartlebees and “November’s Long Shadows” by Auburn Lull.
