This incident reminds me of the last party we held at Kochwood in 05', when a horde of police arrived at 3am, broke down the door (to be fair, the Koch fellow who was hosting the party chose not to answer the cops and instead had us all pretend we weren't there; probably not the wisest move in retrospect), and proceeded to search the apartment and demand everyone's ID's. It was pretty amusing being in a room full of libertarians, many of whom had just finished their first or second year of law school, and one of whom's mother was the chief of police in a neighboring Virginia county. The lawyers among us had a nice back and forth with the cops, with everyone else sort of heckling and/or cheering in the background. Good times.
